This the conclusion chapter of my old project, a thriller based on real life experience. Its been a year since I wrote the first four part. I been wanting to put an end to this story, and I guess this is it.
Please read the previous chapters before proceeding.
Excerpt from the previous chapter:
“…severed chain that used to bound his feet trailed uselessly as the invisible intruder explored, searching, slowly searching, of something unknown to her, yet it was something she knew that he couldn’t find forever…”
Epilogue

“The year was 2001. Back then, four years after the fateful incident, the camp was dispersed. Those who involved never spoke a word, the mystery of the untold sound buried deep beneath hushed whispers…”
The evening sun sets in the horizon, casting an eerie glow of orange light into the cold, dusty band room. At the back of the room, the quartermaster was packing her belongings, ready to call it a day after the practice ended.
As she lock the band room, a cold gust of wind stirred the leaves in the courtyard, breaking the silence of the empty corridor.
Along with the wind, the prisoner of the hall made his presence, dragging his feet slowly, painfully and, with a heart wrenching clang, disappeared into the setting sun.
